Happy Holidays!

Hope you all have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This has been quite a year -- for the LGBT movement and on the show. Want to thank all of our great and smart listeners for weighing in this year on all the big topics on the show. Hosting a radio program that is broadcast across North America and around the globe online is truly a privilege and I'm thankful for the great conversation.

And I'm really excited this year to have taken a new position, just a few weeks ago, as editor-at-large at Huffington Post Gay Voices, where I've already weighed in on quite a few issues. Hope you'll join me in 2012 as I help guide discussions there as well as on the show on Sirius XM OutQ.

We're off for the week, but you'll hear special shows looking back on 2011, as we hit on some our best interviews and caller discussions of the year. We're back with the live show on Tuesday, January 3, just in time for the Iowa caucuses. Lots to do in the new year. See you then and have a happy one!

Rosie: "Not Going to Take it Any More"

As many of you know Rosie O'Donnell calls the show often, and we chat about whatever is in the news, something I always enjoy and I know many of you do. Last week, both on her OWN show and on Twitter, she took on both David Letterman and (again) Donald Trump for what she perceived as homophobia from there. In an interview I did with her for The Huffington Post she has now expounded on it further -- and explains why, newly in-love and reaching 50, she's not going to sit back and accept homophobia- and also talked about Ann Coulter, Madonna, Lady Gaga, RuPaul and others. Take a read at HuffPost Gay Voices.

Newt's Sister: Not Sure if He Believe the Antigay Rhetoric

He claims to be opposed to marriage equality but he gave her a wedding and a shower gift and treats her wife the same way he does her sister's husband Either way, she says, it's troubling, and she's supporting Obama.
