Ted Cruz is only afraid that the Democrats will Bigfoot them with this new nazism that Dementia Boi’s using to assuage his hurt fee-fees.

What they’re really against and afraid of is if Dems might serve them the same medicine once they get back in power.

And well we should. If it’s legal for Donnie it’s legal for President Gavin or Pete or Pritzker or AOC.

We are in the middle of CHAOS. We are distracted by so many negative Trumpian activities, but for me the “target” & “focus” should be the 2026 midterms elections. Trump is determined to eliminate or actively incite suppression of our votes in next year’s crucial elections. We, the People and the Democrats need an aggressive vocal long term strategy to avert any attempt to subvert, suppress , or eliminate our 2025 elections.

Well, we DO get the news of how many boats in the Caribbean they blew up....because....mmm..yeah. It seems like just the thing that Pete Hegseth would want to do...pull a lever to blow something up while sitting comfortably behind a screen, and then having a driver take you home in the evening. Oh, the Circus, the Circus.

Maybe this last move on the felon 47’s part has pierced the wall of Denial of the cult faithful. Sounds like the full scope of diaper Dons actions are resonating. This is all insane and hopefully this will begin a consensus that it’s all too much. Time will tell

Damn, Mike, I know you said that you cancelled Hulu, but you seem so busy between newsletters and the Sirius show, I can hardly see you having the leisure to enjoy much TV, other than critiquing news reports! But good for you and your partner! I'd like to recommend a streamer that costs me $10/month, and that is MHz Choice. MHz streams programs from all over Europe (including one procedural from inside Finland's Arctic Circle!); most of them are detective/police stories, but there's also some documentaries and a few comedies. You have to be OK with reading the script down below, but I enjoy them. They've also had a few from Africa, including 3 shows from S. Africa.

The news about Jimmy Kimmel's show has been awful, like so much news that starts inside the Trump Administration. But with a close friend who spent 5 years as a displaced person after the Soviets invaded the Baltic states, the news of Russian MIGs invading Estonian airspace for 12 minutes was bad international news. It seems like Putin keeps pushing the boundaries to see how Europe will respond. We know how Trump will respond...he's still Putin's bitch.

Lorie, I am enjoying MHz. Love the mysteries and shows from different countries. I don't mind sub-titles at all.

Woohoo, Donnab! You're the first person I've known to also have found this inexpensive and enjoyable streamer! We're sisters in MHz!

I really love the foreign mysteries. Beautiful cinematography and interesting stories, often incorporating history of the local area. :o)

Mike, finally a good bit of news. Is quite the turn around from what they wanted headlines to be for a long time yet.

This is just another distraction from the GOPs refusal to release the Epstein files.

Its also a trial balloon to see what they can get away with.

Writing Sunday morning, I wish everyone the absolute best today!! Today is the day when we are offered bigotry by the 100,000’s from Arizona. I will not be watching, listening or giving it any energy. It will be a tragedy arising from yet another tragedy, and designed to benefit maximally and weaponize the previous act of American violence for its own purposes.

These days I’m paying more attention to practicing right speech for myself. How can I stop using inflammatory street speech but still speak truth about what I see, hear and feel? Inflammatory, vulgar speech is really bad medicine for both myself and others. Maybe it’s necessary to use occasionally, but speaking for myself I think we should begin to lose the habit of incendiary language that has, even with good reason, taken hold. I’m working to find ways to speak the truth with right speech.

So let’s be together in spirit islands of sanity as today’s spectacle unfolds in Arizona. I’m not watching that football game. There are plenty of other things we can do to share our good, healthy islands of sanity together today, the first day of autumn.

"...Tony Perkins and his panelists are growing concerned about the precedent Trump is setting with his authoritarian actions..."

Cruz - "It might feel good right now to threaten Kimmel, but when it is used to silence conservatives in America, we will regret it.”

Why are these two, along with other right-wingers, so hung up on imagined future "retaliation" and not outraged what Trump and Carr are doing right now?

Get your priorities straight, fellas!

I have lived in Texas for 39 years. This is the first time I have ever agreed with Ted Cruz! It is imperative that we all vote in every election. Unfortunately elections are in frequent. However, each and every day I vote with my wallet. Corporations that do things with which I disagree do not get my money and I let them know why. The loss of revenue and profits sends shockwaves not only to the targeted companies but to all of Corporate America which alters behavior.

This is how U fight if u get a bad judge..( Riverside co is a majority MAGA area of CA)

And this bad sheriff chief is running for CA governor. Don’t let anyone forget this!

Bad Cop NO DONUT!

They met at a festival. He was a sheriff’s deputy — and a stalker, her lawsuit claims

After a chance encounter in 2023, Briana Ortega claims in a civil lawsuit that a Riverside County sheriff’s deputy used law enforcement databases to track her down and harass her. Though prosecutors filed felony charges, a judge reduced them to misdemeanors. Now the woman is suing the deputy, the Sheriff’s Department — and Sheriff Chad Bianco, who’s running for governor.
