Needless to say, having power and money allows these people to get away with having a hidden second life while making real life difficult for other members of the LGBTQ+ community. "As long as it's good for me I really don't care what happens to you."
I give people like Gus Kenworthy and Carl Nassib a lot of credit for proudly and proactively saying they were gay, and that their sexual orientation was but a very small part of who they were as people.
What would be very ironic is that if we ever get to a point at which the dust settles, it turns out that Lindsey Graham is the only straight one in the bunch.
If there are escorts or others that have definitive proof that any of these self-righteous closet cases are actually gay, please come forward. You will probably be making a huge personal (and possibly financial) sacrifice, but you'd also be cementing your legacy in LGBTQ+ history.
I agree with your statement. My former husband was more gay than bi and once I lived with him, my gaydar was impeccable. I can usually spot one a mile away. My ex was also completely closeted his entire life because he was catholic. He was also very MAGA! I'm glad I left him years ago, not because of his gayness, but because I couldn't live with his dishonesty. He had no insight about his own hypocrisy.
