Right. Agree.

Just stressing at this point. So much PTSD from 2016 debacle and cannot shake the fear that tRump et al will cheat their way back in again. Have had to stay off Twitter, etc. Politico article about Florida voting etc. have me worried. Frustrated that DNC has not been doing more outreach over the last 4 years to Hispanics. Ugh.

I am SADLY in FL ( because to be close to my family otherwise I would not be in FL!) and it is very worrisome. There are pockets of blue counties like Pinellas, Dave, Palm Beach .... and FL DID vote for Obama x 2.... but.... like you said, the cheating! and DeathSantis ....I agree with you, I am staying off twitter.

Right on Michael, you got this. I am reminded of a bumper sticker I had when I lived in SF for all those years, "The moral majority is neither"!! Go Joe and vote blue :-)!

I am worried what to order for election night food

It’s a toss up between deli or diner or Chinese food

It's going to be exciting to have a president and a Senate we can press our advantage with, instead of having to fight off being put in boxcars to the camps.

Totally agree!

And for me women's rights.

I'm appalled at having to go back to the 70's again if women lose their right to make their own reproductive choices.

I have many thoughts. Even if Biden wins the presidency and Democrats win the Senate (which remains a frighteningly large question), Biden has to balance a genuine desire for change with the reality that the fragile coalition that elected him may dissipate soon after Trump leaves office (assuming, of course, that we aren't torn further apart by prolonged election litigation). He has the chance to be very strategic in laying the groundwork for a generation of progress in a range of areas (racial justice, LQBTQ, voting rights, income inequality). This would require discipline in messaging that Democratic leadership has failed at for decades. We do have great communicators, but they are shut down by Pelosi and Schumer. I am as afraid of their bungling as I am of the GOP's venality. The tragedy is that 75%-80% of the country agrees with the changes that would be made by a Biden administration, but unless current leadership steps aside to allow for strategic and continual messaging of these changes, these largely popular ideas will be twisted by right-wing media, and we will end up with another GOP sweep in 2024. Frankly, if I were Biden, I would hire Mayor Pete as the spokesperson for a New Deal-type agenda and keep Pelosi away from media altogether. Of course, I am dreaming...the Senate races are incredibly tight and will tighten even further in the next 4 days.

I agree. It really will require smart maneuvering and confidence. As well as great messengers.

If Trump wins through the Supreme Court and we win back the Senate, we MUST impeach him again and remove him from office immediately.

Sadly, this would be unlikely. Pelosi was utterly unwilling to impeach the first time, and she limited both the time and scope of the original impeachment. That said, there are 8,000 attorneys fighting GOP litigation, unlike the 2000 election recount. If the win is decisive, the Court won't risk its remaining legitimacy. If Biden wins, grassroots groups must immediately start working on the 2022 election. We need to pursue every election as though it's 2020. Memories of this horror show will fade and it will be up to all of us to drum the lessons into the next generations.

I think she would as the Democratic Party would no longer have trust that our party was protecting us especially if we have a stolen election through the SCOTUS.
