Just one more colossal grift for him and his moron sons. What a pathetic country we've become. All this is setting us up for an attack by a foreign state while we keep focusing on the Caribbean and South Pacific. Similar to the 1st illegal occupation of the 'former' White House, but only more dire this time around while Hegseth takes his eye off the ball and there are no guardrails like and Kelly and Milley. This idiot wants to start a war. What do you think that will do to their precious stock market?!?

And more evidence, if anyone needs it, of our feckless/complicit media: Comcast, parent company of NBC, is a major donor to the demolition of the WH East Wing and ‘construction’ of that gilded dance hall. Corporate/legacy media are in bed with the authoritarian.

"I have the best poll numbers..." Jeezuz H Tap Dancing Christ, who is telling him his poll numbers are anywhere near OK, let along the best? He will have fucked the economy and everything else so badly by the time 2028 comes around that they won't be able to get away with propping up that illiterate diaper loader any longer.

Trump tried a coups during his first term. He'll do it again. He's a power hungry egomaniac and a cancer on democracy.

Hasn't a coup already been underway? I perceive this as only taking it to the next level and finalizing it, if he succeeds in getting a third term.

You nailed this. Trump says everything and nothing, and the media still can’t bring itself to name what’s obvious.

I just wrote something called The Real Culprits that takes the longer view: Trump is what happens when a failed political center refuses to admit it’s failed. The same strategists, same centrist “consensus,” same elite delusions are back at the table in 2024, and now we’re stuck with the sequel.

History’s full of moments like this. We just never think we’re living in one.

Running for president in 2028 at “82plus” (but it was Biden who was too old to be president?)

The MAGA cult and its republiCON sponsors continue to confound us.

It's all about them, Larry. The Democrats are merely existential threats.

Hi Larry, between corporate media's both-sidesing and minimizing everything and Faux News telling outright lies and propaganda, Drumpf has been normalized and truth has been lost. Michelangelo is a notable exception, of course, and he's not the only one, thankfully!

Only watching msnbc (besides listening to my Sirius gang) for news; we’re done with the “both sidesing)”. Thank you Sakina and Donnab for hearing the same truth👍

Trump planning a coup?

He has already pulled off a self coup.

Now he is working on Technate America https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technocracy_movement

under the guise of a war on drugs. He is going to attack Venezuela and Colombia, Panama can be taken by the 173rd Airborne Brigade and a handful of JSOC operators., the rest will fold, Argentina is bought and paid for with a 20 billion dollar, bail out. He hasn't given up on Greenland or Canada. There is a map at that link above, of the Technate of America.

He has the world cowed into submission, they fly to DC to bend the knee and kiss the ring, except the Arabs, and he kisses their ass.

Trump's superpower is American consumption, private and public, and that consumption is powered by debt, private and public, and that is why Trump is adamant about low interest rates.

Since money is created from debt (private and public) as Interest rates go down, the demand for debt goes up and the supply of money also goes up, more money equals more consumption, more consumption means more economic activity and more power.

There is one thing the US leads the world in, and that is debt (public and private).
