I’ve been liking Substack Notes, which launched in recent days. Notes is a way to engage with other readers and writers on Substack in the same way we’ve used Twitter, which is why Elon Musk got mad and tried to block Substack last week.
Notes is a space on Substack for readers and writers to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. I plan to use it the way I use social media, posting short items or just commenting on the news of the day, which I may not write up in a larger post.
And it’s a great place for all of us to use, like other social media. I don’t see it replacing Twitter—which a lot of people left anyway—or Post or Mastodon. Just another place to connect, and a more unique one since it includes all subscribers to this and the thousands of other newsletters and the writers of those newsletters.
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the "Notes" tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to The Signorile Report, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
This is great- I am inching closer and closer to leaving twitter permanently
Love you in Goshen IN You keep me sane with this crazy crap going on! 😘
