Graham led a life in the closet, which everyone in Washington knew about, selling out queer people to Christian nationalists and licking Trump’s ass. It got him nothing.
Graham is just another example of how denying who you really are only leads to misery, and misery loves company. His misery allowed him to deny the humanity of the LGBTQ community and other vulnerable communities, as well. It is a sad ending for a sad, pathetic person.

Graham was so typical of a pathetic man attempting to hide his “real” self … a sad indictment of society & the political climate at present. He betrayed himself and the people who voted for him. All the false & hypocritical tributes to Graham reflect the dishonesty of our political system .
Even worse than Graham Cracker's rampant homophobia was that he sent thousands of young Americans to be killed and wounded in the wars that he was a cheerleader for. All so his defense contractor buddies could make a lot of money. Not to mention him and 25 other senators voted to block burn pit legislation in 2022. Frankly the only good thing about him is that he's dead.
Great analysis, and spot on, IMO. I would just add that it shows how craven all the other politicians are. As you said, McCain was a homophobe, but he surely knew Graham was gay. yet he still mentored him and helped him gain favor. All the anti-gay MAGA politicians knew or at at least suspected he was gay, and still they were happy to support him so long as he supported them.
And this is a great lesson for how power works in Washington. This proves to me that all these anti-gay politicians are either just performative to get votes, or if true believers, will still put power above their own ethics and beliefs to gain power.
Which is really scary. It shows that all these people only care about power. Nothing more.
It seems like the only valuable lesson we can learn from his death is that if you're not well and people are telling you to get help, it's not a good idea to put it off. It's so crazy to me that people aren't more worried about their own mortality!

IMO, there were two reasons for this war on Iran
One, Bibi, falsely, believed that by decapitating the leadership, Iran would fall and/or Israel would remain the nuclear hegemon in the MidEast
Two: Trump believed that he would grab Iranian oil, the same ideation that Cheney and Dubya had when they invaded Iraq.
These people are idiots, and they control, controlled, the foreign policy and armed forces of this country.
