We should have known anything the right claims as inviolate they will abandon at anytime to put more power in their hands. Well Alan is wrong about being able to buy a handgun in CA, with proper ID, a background check and 10 day waiting period you can. So, unless he was in a hurry to commit a crime with a gun and he wasn't already a criminal, he should have no problems. Folks that are law abiding and have nothing to hide don't have problems with these things.
