MAGA man claims we take Trump's glitches "out of context"
Rick from Washington DC, who defined himself as "not a big Trump supporter," claims Trump's bizarre comments make sense. Listen in to this one.
After a discussion on my SiriusXM program with Biden campaign official TJ Ducklo in which we talked about the GOP and right-wing media doctoring videos of President Biden—making cheap fakes trying to depict the president as wandering around in Italy—Rick from Washington, DC called in.
Rick referred to the conversation and claimed that I do the same thing to Donald Trump by supposedly playing clips of Trump’s nonsensical comments—his glitches—and his ugly diatribes “out of context.”
He specifically was focused on a clip we play often in which Trump says, “Republicans eat their young.”
That one is just a funny one, because the phrase we use is, of course, “eat their own.” Rick claimed I have been insinuating that Trump was literally claiming Republicans eat young people—or something.
LOL.
No, Rick, I’m showing with that clip that this man who accuses President Biden of being senile, out of it, or slow on the uptake, is clearly dealing with his own mental decline issues, since nobody says “eat their young.”
He’s getting the phrase wrong, just like he confused Nancy Pelosi and Nicki Haley, Just like he confuses President Biden with President Obama, Just like he says other things that I can’t even describe here—but you can hear one such instance in this clip with Rick, as I played it for Rick—because they’re batshit crazy and make no sense.

Rick, who insisted he was just trying to help me be more honest and is “not a big Trump supporter,” also said we took Trump out of context when Trump said there would be a “bloodbath” if he lost the election and that he doesn’t really mean violence. I know I don’t have to get into the details on that one for all of you—I do go into it with Rick, so you can hear it in this clip and his response.
This is all another feeble attempt by MAGA to dismiss Trump’s rantings and meanderings and claim they somehow make sense, while also excusing his violent rhetoric. And it’s quite fascinating hearing them deal with it.
Also, I chuckled at the “I’m not a big Trump supporter” label. So you just support the fascist a little bit? Sorry, this is one of those situations in which I would say you can’t get half-pregnant.
Listen in, and let me know your thoughts!
I am so sick of people painting this picture of Trump as a "normal" candidate. He is nutcase, he is a conman, he is a liar, and he is a convicted criminal. Joe Biden is not perfect, but he is a descent human being with empathy and compassion. the news media is complicit in how they present these two candidates. and I always get mad when I hear about how old Biden is, can't we get someone younger, well ... did you vote in Primaries, because you had an opportunity to vote for someone younger, but guess what Joe Biden won and he also beat Trump in the last election and a lot of people didn't think that was going to happen. The one thing Biden has the Trump cannot attack him is he is an old white guy, just like Trump, not a woman, not a minority, and for Trump to try to paint Biden as this feeble old man just doesn't work when Biden speaks to an audience. Biden is one step ahead of Trump with facts and moxie that Trump doesn't have!! I hope Biden gets under Trump's skin in tonight's debate and Trump goes off the rails and starts talking about space lasers or some shit like that.
Hi Mike, Rick is MAGA..he is more intelligent than most but there he is. My opinion is he just wants to waste your time and our time as listeners.. Too much deflection, too much of a protest that you do not play the entire speech, too much feigned ignorance. Mike I appreciate what you do and keep it going as I fear you will be receiving more MAGA BS the closer to the election.
