MAGA man pitifully attempts to defend Hegseth livestream of execution

Warren in Florida said it would deter people from crime. But he had no numbers, because it’s not true. By the end, he had no choice but to agree with me that it could desensitize people to violence.

Warren from Florida, who called into my SiriusXM program, is an example of how MAGA don’t think things through. They operate on their gut—and often bias—and then can’t explain any of it because it’s not grounded in facts.

He called in to push back on my thoughts on Pete Hegseth’s barbaric plan to livestream the firing squad execution of a mass shooter.

In addition to not knowing about the research that has failed to establish that the death penalty is a deterrent—but saying “you’d think” it is—he mind-bogglingly was forced to agree that showing an execution online would actually desensitize people to killing and thus could lead to more violence!

He had also initially pushed back on my point that this shooter, Nidal Hasan, was being put to death in a livestreamed execution because he’s Muslim. Warren was forced to agree that if the shooter were an evangelical Christian extremist, this administration would not livestream his execution.

Watch and let me know your thoughts!

And here’s video with my take on what really went down after we were done with the show.
