MAGA man tries to defend following unlawful orders in military (audio)
Ken from Tennessee called into my show, describing himself as a veteran, and said Trump has no responsibility in any unlawful orders given. Nor, apparently, does anyone else in charge.
After a group of military and intelligence veterans who are members of Congress made a video two weeks ago warning those in the military that they should not obey unlawful orders, Ken from Tennessee called my SiriusXM to criticize them.
He didn’t agree with Donald Trump’s statements, but actually couldn’t muster up the courage to criticize Trump for calling them “seditious” and suggesting punishing them by “death.” Ken just mumbled and stumbled on that one.
He’d called in as I’d been discussing the Pentagon investigating Senator Mark Kelly, a retired Naval officer and astronaut who is fighting back against Trump’s smeaks, and the FBI investigating the other Democrats who took part in the video.

But let me point out that this call is from last week, before we learned that Pete Hegseth engaged in what some in Congress are calling a war crime, allegedly giving an unlawful order to strike a boat in the Caribbean a second time, and kill two survivors of the first strike. He is now the subject of intense scrutiny and Congressional investigations. Hegseth is trying to throw Admiral Frank Bradley under the bus—who apparently carried out the illegal order—while trying to save himself. But honestly, the entire chain of command could face charges, which is why those Democrats sent a clear warning.
Trump, meanwhile, is throwing Hegseth under the bus, and trying to insulate himself from any of the decision-making.
Clearly, those Democrats who issued the warning were immensely prescient—or, more likely, knew about what had happened.
What’s ironic about Ken in Tennessee (listen above) is that he was right that an unlawful order is “asinine” and is often coming from an “idiot”— but he’s wrong when he says that the “idiot” is not the head of the “Department of War” or the “president.”
He then defended Trump and couldn’t actually say that Trump was wrong to call for punishing the Democrats with death. He just literally could not get the words out. Pure MAGA cult!
Listen in and let me know your thoughts!

As a retired special operator, a "mustang" with 26 years service. There is no doubt that Hegseth's orders were illegal, by U.S. and international law. And Adm Bradley and the JSOC team that obeyed them are guilty of war rimes. Mind you Adm Halsey retired rather than follow illegal orders.
And I go one better, every general and flag officer who sat there and put up with being insulted, demeaned and berated by Hegseth and Trump are either cowards or corrupt careerists or ideological companions meaning Dominonists.
Every one of them with character and fidelity to their oaths, should have walked or and submiited their retirement papers like Rear Adm Halsey.
That they stay on is indication that there are no different than the General Staff who stayed on after Hitler rose to power.
Yup, couldn't duh come up with a reason! Remember My Lai? That's what happens when the military goes unchecked by being led by a Faux News Host.
