Donald Trump has caused so much damage to the trans community with his executive orders. Any Democrat that comes to power without undoing the orders is complacent in the bigotry.
Fascism has to have an enemy, an "other," that arouses the bigotry of both secular and religious groups. Trans Americans who serve in our military are brave, honorable, and selfless. The Trump administration, led by a draft-dodging coward, wants to ban them for who they are. Disgraceful. This isn’t about readiness, it’s about bigotry!

Your caller who talked about the woman getting rewarded for a racial slur and the Karen who was condemned for her racism in the bird watching park does not bode well for racism fading away when Trump is no longer in office. I am sometimes afraid that so much emphasis is put on Trump we ignore how much Americans has been changed forever. Winning the Presidency without pushing the boundaries and intentionally reducing the threat from the right and grabbing as much power as we can get we will lead to a repeat of this. The Dems always leading by example while the right hates their guts no matter what is their biggest weakness. Any Progressive must be willing to work without compromise to take power from the right if they want to be better than Democrats. The Dems and the press have shared relationship where the press convinces the Dems of the value of bipartisanship. With friends like MSM the Dems don't need enemies.

I think sharing Jasmine’s videos and talking about her publicly, along with others who are vocal, helps a little bit. But MSM needs to get the message that we know what they’re keeping from us.
