Let's not forget that the draconian cuts to AIDS-related research are also an attempt to destroy the legacy of Anthony Fauci. Trump and his goons have demonized Fauci as some crackpot because he dared to speak the truth, based in science. Trump is so insecure that he cannot abide anyone who disagrees with him and so petty that he seeks revenge for decades for grudges that he holds.

When Rs refer to him as Reagan's successor, they are right on point, not in the way they think. Both had a callous disregard for the suffering of “others”.

During Covid lock down, I became interested in Buddhism. The reason I mention this is I try very hard not to wish anyone ill. I’m starting to wish certain people ill.

Hopefully if the Orange clown dies, it will be from his own ignorant stupidity. Whether it be from his McDonald's/diet coke consumption, or playing golf in a lightning storm, who knows! I just hope CNN or some MSM network doesn't run a non-stop marathon of tributes like he was Frank Sinatra.

So get this—I went to a breakfast this morning thinking I was walking into a solid talk on cleaner eating (which, yes, I'm into). But nope. I ended up in a room full of ultra-extreme chiropractors on an anti-vax soapbox. Midway through, the speaker casually drops this gem: RFK supposedly “found out later” that the kids who died from measles in Texas had actually “recovered” and then died of "something else" days later. Uh-huh. Because THAT narrative hasn’t been used before. 🙄

Here’s a wild thought—if they had underlying conditions, maybe getting vaccinated would’ve, I don’t know… protected them? Prevented complications? Kept them alive? And didn’t RFK himself just go on TV and say he thinks people should take the measles vaccine now? So which version are we going with today? The pseudoscience one or the “oops I said that on record” one? I stayed through the talk, but left right after. That room was filled with conservatives nodding along like it was gospel. I’m just so exhausted by this ongoing war on science. Evidence still matters. Science still matters. RFK out here talking in circles like a guy who lost the plot and the script—how do you claim leadership when you don’t even know what’s happening under your own name? If you can’t keep track of your own talking points, maybe step off the stage and let the grownups speak.

Please tell us the city and state and organization that put on that talk so that we can be aware of potential sources of misinformation. I would hope that the antivax views of those chiropractors represent a teeny tiny percentage of their profession.

Of course, it was in my hometown of Naples FL and the name of the chiro group is Trinity Chiropractic. Sadly, here in Naples this is ground zero for MAGA extremism so no, they are not the only ones here touting misinformation. Naples, FL sadly is FULL of this misinformation.

Is anyone really surprised that this man doesn’t know or care what is going on underneath his very nose in his department? Or that he is taking orders to fire people trump hates? Or is this merely a cover-up because he doesn’t want to admit he is complicit in everything that is happening? He is a total disgrace either way

MAGA supporters wanted to break the federal government for the rest of us, magically thinking that somehow they'd be spared. This administration lied when they said it was just about cutting Diversity Equity and Inclusion programs. They want to cut everything! I'm also thinking of all the recent storms and flooding in ruby red Kentucky, where cuts to FEMA will hinder recovery efforts.

Hi Sakina. Kentucky is reaping what it sowed. Kentucky: Good luck with the flooding. Maybe your governor can phone the orange freak playing golf while the country collapses. Or call RFK -- he'll tell KY to take vitamin A.

To get their tax cuts for the top 1percent, this administration is eliminating as much as they could get away with, even if it means many will die. Greed and power over peoples’ well being. The magacon way.

RFK has no medical training and should crawl back into his conspiracy-laden hole. How many people will die because they didn't get vaccinated?

RFKJR is symptomatic of the other personalities in this administration. They are narcissists with the accompanying sociopathies that result in a dangerous lack of empathy for someone whose decisions affect other people.

Trump’s and his entire Cabinet are like watching a character like “The Joker” and his minions sitting at cabinet meetings discussing what fresh chaos they can cause with each character sucking up to the boss The citizens be damned. People with these personalities don’t care about “the people”.

One commentator within the government (admitted regarding Medicare or Medicaid) that algorithms were used to identify this “waste, fraud and abuse”

An algorithm can only point where to look. An actual AUDIT and efficiency study is required to INTELLIGENTLY reduce the Federal workforce without gutting WHAT MAKES IT WORK.
