Mike, as soon as you think the god king cannot any lower, he does exactly that…. Lower than whale turds. May the Reiners memory be for a blessing.

There is no low too far for the sociopath masquerading as a POTUS. What a tremendous loss for those of us who valued Rob and Michele's work and their passion in supporting progressive causes. Thanks for a very moving and important piece, Michelangelo!

A Badge of Honor for sure. I did not know you did a show on Sirius. It came with an EV I bought a year ago and I listen to E-Street Radio on 20 so Bruce can soothe my battered soul. What channel are you on?

A great commentary by you. Have you read Heather Cox Richardson's Letter on Stack last night? She let's Rob Reiner say it all in a serious film he directed. I recommend it to all who care.

Thanks! We’re on channel 127, SiriusXM Progress. A whole progressive political channel.

Michelangelo is on the Progressive station (I can’t remember the number). His show comes on from noon to three on the Pacific Coast. He interviews important voices in the Progressive political and social worlds. Because he’s a journalist, it’s not just empty “talk” radio. If you have Sirius app, you can listen to past shows online.

I have some acquaintances who are MAGA. Even they are posting that they are disappointed in trump's remarks about the Reiners. One of them posted "President Trump! You completely shamed yourself with your uncalled for remarks regarding the horrific murder of Rob and Michelle Reiner. Shame on you!"

Another posted: "That crossed a line in a huge way. So disappointed in him."

Another: "Trump's personal comments were not presidential."

Another: "It's shocking. Trump showed his ass! If he said anything he should have said 'How horrific'."

Another: "Trumps says many things that offend me. This was not presidential."

Anyways you get the gist of their comments. Maybe some of them are waking up.....

Trump is a deranged criminal. It disgusts me that some people supoort this hateful man. I feel so bad for the Reiner family. This is an American tragedy, supported by a cruel, authoritarian regime.

Thank you my friend for this tribute to an icon of film and causes near and dear to our hearts in the gay community. May he and his wife rest in peace , knowing that they will always be remembered for their support of liberal causes and a better world.

Trump does not know any low. He'll keep going down down down because he is horrific man. A petty fool.

Such a heavy sensation in my chest upon the news of the Reiners, as if I knew them personally. He was such a cultural force for many more years than Donnie, and in positive , powerful ways.

Michelangelo, I can only think that there no depths to which trump will not sink; he is clearly a narcissist who cannot resist the urge to lift himself up, up, up, and still up, without putting someone down. This....this...I cannot think of the word to describe trump at present.... nevertheless, he sickens me no end.

Rob Reiner and his wife were good people. Trump and his family are rotten to the core. Such a difference in the two families. I am sorry Rob's son had to deal with mental illness. I am familiar with this in my own family and it's tragic. Trump is qualified for the Worst person in the world award.

My earliest memories of Rob Reiner are from reruns of All in the Family, hosting SNL, Princess Bride and Spinal Tap. I didn't know about his political activism until 10-15 years ago when I heard his interviews on SiriusXM Progress and when he caused Joe & Mika to clutch their pearls after he criticized the orange assclown. Rob exposed how flakey those two were and I roll my eyes whenever they act shocked by the antics of the traitor-in-chief. Anyway, this has just been one big gut punch of a weekend. RIP Rob & Michele!

Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle, exemplified the highest qualities of human character; empathy, generosity, care and concern for others. They were loved and respected by all who knew them. They are truly American treasures.

Drumpf’s public statement about the Reiner’s shows his true colors. His bar has sunk to its lowest level yet. Disgraceful.
