What's worse are our neighbors and ex-friends who vote for these racist, hateful, ignorant MAGAts. I never thought we'd sink to this level of corruption. No media coverage of Trump's cancelled Capital One accounts due to 'suspected' money laundering, his insane spending, and his Cabinet sycophants cutting essential government jobs because people are either female or a minorities. After chopping down the DC cherry trees and the East wing of the White House, what is he planning to destroy next?

Just like the story about Capital One and Trump's many canceled accounts falling completely out of the news cycle. Time to face the fact the free press or free speech have become the same as religious dogma believed in but not saving any souls. The founders Thom Hartmann has identified as deists, believing the creator of everything left it all in our care. Not exactly atheistic but the Constitution describes a set of rules and beliefs for the continuation of their dream for America which is a whole lot like religious texts that depend on a large majority of people who share the same beliefs. What we might like to call ignorance through poor education is much different than being intentionally lied to which is where we are now. I don't think the founders considered free speech as a license to lie but to resolve disagreements over the best way forward based on a core set of beliefs shared by most. We no longer have that and I don't see how that can be remedied just like religions that believe in the same God become permanently split and never reunite.
