Sgt. Angel Rampersad lost her life in the Iran war. She was an immigrant and a queer woman, among the kind of people treated as second class citizens in America under this regime.
Michelangelo, thanks very much for what you’ve written about Sgt Angel Rampersad. I’m deeply moved and saddened for her, and then enraged at that man and those who he has around him. Her life and the life of her family and those close to her are so much more meaningful and beautiful than that man’s, and those Americans who support him. He has managed to bring out the worst in far too many Americans who otherwise might have a chance at their own “better angels.” What’s going to get to through them? Thanks again for putting a face and a heart on those whom we are fighting for. Thanks for your own skillful combat.

I honestly do not know how her family managed to stand there with Trump. l cannot imagine having the strength to remain composed in that moment. I honestly do not think I could do it..
