Alito makes me sick. What a bunch of bigots. They are not interested in hearing the facts, nor are they concerned with the harm imposed by these quacks.

"But I hope this coming Supreme Court decision will be a major wake up call, and one that gets thousands of young LGBTQ people into the streets when it’s handed down in June."

We already know what the decision will be, so why wait till next June. Our gay and trans organizations should be broadcasting now, about the horrific stories of survivors, and worse, those who didn't survive the cruelty and damage of this religious nationalist "therapy."

I didn't listen to the oral arguments, so I'm wondering if the AMA and both APA's (psychiatric and psychological associations) filed amicus briefs, including voluminous scientific evidence that "conversion therapy" is quack science and child abuse? Sure, there has been some politization and bigotry in these organizations in the past, but they have evolved. Unfortunately, neither bigotry nor religious fanaticism are diagnostic categories in the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of mental disorders, but they should be included!
