I am glad Dems are taking over the House and Senate. I just hope they do what their constituents expect them to do. Address affordability by rolling back the MAGA Big Ugly Bill which gave huge tax cuts to the billionaires while stripping funding from SNAP and Medicaid. Reining in Trump's power to wage war which has caused the price of gas, especially diesel to skyrocket. Stop Trump from destroying DC with his vanity projects. Investigate all cabinet members, impeach and remove them from office. There is a long list of what must be done. Just remember that Trump is now a lame duck president and put him in his place. I would like him in an orange jumpsuit but first get him out of the Oval office.

I'm glad to see that these horrible pieces of shit such as Vivek Ramaswamy, Virginia Foxx and Lauren Boebert lost their races. It's also nice that we have a Fetterman-proof majority in the US Senate. Hopefully the voters in Pennsylvania will give us a Fetterman-free US Senate in 2028.

A HUGE sigh of relief, for sure, and one of the most diverse Congresses ever, which represents much more of the complexion of our country...celebrate! One of my neighbors was saying he wasn't so sure about Jeffries, but I think he will do just fine leading the House and the investigations. He should push hard for more Epstein files releases regardless of who is in there, including the blowhard in chief!
It was good news & bad news here in Alabama. The good news is that Shomari Figures, the representative in my district, was re-elected despite all the gerrymandering fuckery caused by Gov. Kay Ivey. The bad news is that we're stuck with Tommy Tuboshitforbrains as governor, along will all the other downballot MAGA ass-kissers. Yeah they barely got over half the vote, but I'm still pissed off about it. I guess the MAGA voters want a more localized version of FAFO.
