Thursday thread: Putin's invasion of Ukraine

We knew it was coming, and yet it's still shocking. More horrifying is that a former U.S. president and his allies are cheering it on.

As we all watch what’s happening Ukraine, I wanted to start a thread for you all to join in discussion.

Even as we knew this was coming, it was terribly sad and supremely enraging to see the invasion commence last, while the entire world watched, as Putin threatened anyone who tried to stop him.
