Trump facing a new indictment--and I'm on vacation.
Feel free to use this open thread throughout my time away to discuss everything going on. Or take a break yourself, as we all need it.

So, I’m going on vacation after my SiriusXM program today (yes, I’m on the air today, Wednesday, 3-6 ET, 12-3 PT), and through the 29th of July. I won’t be posting until the days following. This is the first time I’m taking a break from the newsletter and not posting throughout the week in over three years. I’m glad to be getting away for a little while.
But I’d be happy for all of you to pick up the discussion while I’m away, and join in here and chat about the news of the day—including the big news that Donald Trump is being indicted yet again. According to some of the reporting, he may be facing obstruction and fraud charges. But I do hope terrorism is in the mix because he is a domestic terrorist!
Start your own topic if you like, post links if you like, and come back as often as you want. Be nice, and don’t worry—the thread will be monitored for trolls by a friend of the newsletter. Of course, you may want to take a break from the newsletter too, so if no one posts, that’s fine too!
My great friend and colleague Joe Sudbay, host of “State of the States” on SiriusXM Progress, will be guest-hosting my SiriusXM program on Thursday and Friday of this week, and all of next week, through the 28th. So if you’re a listener to my show, you’ll definitely be covered.
Thanks again for being a subscriber to The Signorile Report. We’ll connect again when I’m back.
And thank you for the vacation well wishes!
But also please start out telling everyone what you think of the Trump impending indictment.
Hey, there is a huge conspiracy among right-wing institutions including the Republican party to reconfigure the United States into a sort-of theocracy/oligarchy. So there's that.
Basically, everything I've thought about it, every interpretation I've come to from pretty much watching or reading MSM over 30 years - all true. These SCOTUS decisions like Citizens United? Yep, complete bullshit. My authoritarian radar has been tingling since I first voted in 1990. Does anyone else feel the same way?
All THAT - Trump, a corrupt Supreme Court, massive economic inequality, in addition to human rights abuses and rising white supremacy - that's what we're voting on. The Republican solution is the white Christian solution for those who want to play along.
