Now, coupled with his quest for power and $ AND his cognition problems, it's impossible to watch him without throwing something at the TV. He has disgraced the U.S., trashed our allies and buddied up to dictators. His handlers (Miller, Bannon, the techno-oligarchs) are running things while Trump foams at the mouth.
Regarding his mental decline, anyone who has been close to someone with dementia can clearly recognize the many signs he exhibits. Being awake late at night and falling asleep during the day. He has been swearing a lot, which he didn’t do much in public in his first term. His gait with his right leg swinging out. There are drugs that slow the progress of dementia that are administered via IV. I think he’s getting those IVs attached to his hand, which accounts for the bruising. I think the MRI was of his brain to monitor the progress of the dementia. That’s my two cents worth of opinions.

We know from various family members that grandpa Fred died of a form of fronto-temporal degeneration. We know from current family members that their uncle King has been developing symptoms in line with his daddy’s disease. We know many of these forms of dementia have genetic foundations. We know the King receives hours and hours of occupational therapy. How do we know this last part? Because The King often says the coach’s instructions out loud to remind himself. “Oh that’s a word….break it up…pronounce…”. “these aren’t bad stairs…go slowly…lift one foot…” Any honest aware person who has ever worked in gerontology knows - the position of USPOTUS is currently vacant.
