I read that the National Portrait Gallery director resigned after being targeted by felonpotus for "anti-American" rhetoric. Her crime? She has spoken about racial and gender inequality. No more free speech unless you parrot the maga lines. Every single institution, corporation, non-profit, media, state agency, schools, anything that gets any federal funding at all, must "align with the president's goals", that is, white supremacy, and supporting a Republican dictator in power. No federal agency will have oversight for corruption or fraud. Congress is merely a rubber stamp. Judges are ignored if a ruling displeases the felonpotus. Every federal agency is being run by sycophantic, sociopathic, fpotus cronies, and they all must subordinate their agency's direction to him and his Project 2025 handlers. Blue states are not the only states that will receive no federal funding, including disaster relief. Even red states are currently receiving no hurricane, tornado or flood relief. This regime has no interest in helping or serving the 98% of us non-millionaires. Taxpayer dollars are supposed to line the pockets of fpotus and cohorts, according to fpotus policies. The spin denying this on right-wing media is all pervasive propaganda. They say fpotus is a true patriot and has no interest in enriching himself as president. That is a bald faced lie.

At least he agreed that there is no confederacy and that W shouldn't have statues. Otherwise, he is making excuses for the white supremacist Christian nationalist base of the Republican party. Get a clue, Jeff! Jimmy Carter was "in it for the money"?! Seriously?! FDR and JFK came from money but they were for the people and were Democrats.

Trump lies compulsively, and I think he believes his own lies. Now he wants to rename military bases after Confederates who owned slaves. He must know that Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, his Jan 6 MAGAts, are white supremacist groups. In L.A. men in the streets wore red "White Men for Trump" shirts. If that's not racism, I'll be a monkey's uncle.

Mike I listened to the call in real time and that guy spoke like someone in a cult.. I noticed he tried to “buddy up” you more than once… he demonstrated how ignorant he was when you questioned him, I mean you really drilled down backed him into a corner..all of us knew where this discussion was headed.. Thanks Mike, have great No Kings weekend.

I suspect that when you held the mirror up for him he didn't like what he saw reflected. He clearly is making excuses for white supremacy, but refused to acknowledge it. This is the overall problem with most MAGA supporters. They prefer to see themselves as not racist.

But the mirror don't lie!

As I've written on Michelangelo's pages over the years, White Supremacists suck at the economy. Part of the myth these people have been under for who knows how long. According to data from the Tax Foundation, Pew Trust and Rockefeller Institute, the last people on the planet you want to run ANYTHING would be White Supremacists.

Red states, where these people tend to congregate, and states that are by far majority white people, are the biggest Welfare recipients in the history of Welfare. Kentucky, the biggest Welfare state AND the whitest state in the Country, around 87%, took $355 billion dollars in Subsidies from 2015 thru 2022. Not exactly a success story. California, the most diverse state in the country at around 43% white, handed over $206 billion to subsidize Red states for the same period of time.

I ran across some numbers I put together a while ago. In 2022, 12 Red states, the first in alphabetical order, Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky Louisiana received $334.36 billion in subsidies. The first 12 Red states. 31 Red states put the current administration in office. Look at the first 12 of those 31 states! Here's you 'White Supremacists' for you.

The clip of Kristi Noem stating that they were there to rid California of the socialists has been played more than once on Sirrius this morning. The reality that needs to be thrown back in her heavily made up face and all conservatives, is that Red states, the 31 Red states that elected Chicken Taco, states like South Dakota, are the biggest Socialists in the history of Socialism. The numbers are staggering. AND, as I've said before, no matter how much money we give these states, and those numbers are enormous, these states NEVER improve. They always stay the same. Fucked up Welfare States. Just look at the data. Nothing changes with these states.

Mike Johnson has shot his mouth off in the last day regarding Alex Padilla, one of my Senators. His state is a horrible Welfare state. I've put the numbers up on Mike's page before. A disaster. We've given Louisiana $$158.2 billion dollar since 2015. Look at what this 'generosity' buys you. Getting thrown on the floor and handcuffed.

Newsom is bringing the Welfare / Donor state issue to the forefront. We need to expand on this. This is the true economy, and has been for the 40 years of data I have. Anyone want to speculate on the period from 1865 thru 1980? No doubt the same crap. No, we don't have Socialism in the U.S. do we?

They are never gonna learn, their ignorance is paramount. To deny that racism is at the root of this administration's hypocrisy is to deny that Steven Miller is a hypocritical Jew. He would have things done to people whose skin color is different than his is no better than Hitler and his racism. It is truly astonishing that this guy would TRY to conflate the two. It is so obvious, but I guess I am being a snob, right my friend?

Wonne, this country was built on racism, unfortunately, and yes, greed. Hundreds of years later, certain White people (not all) still buy into the racism and fully embrace it. LBJ pretty much summed it up by saying that you can get over on the poorest White person by tapping into that racism and they will vote against their own best interests. On the other hand, Isabelle Wilkerson stated that they are voting in their own best interest, if that interest is maintaining white supremacy and racism.

Sakina, they fear becoming a minority because they know how badly POC were/are treated. Hispanic women are having more babies than white women and that frightens the right wing.

It really irritates me that some people think that getting a college education makes me less American unlike “blue collar” people. That is just the craziest statement. Or that somehow I am “elite” for going to a university. No, I just got a degree. That’s all.

It is amazing that there are still some people who believe that slavery was beneficial, not only to Blacks, but to the nation as a whole.

The Civil War stands in our history as an indictment of slavery, but it was only just one indictment. The first ever indictment of slavery occurred when Moses led the Hebrews out of Egypt.

I suspect that those who say that want to believe it because they don't want to deal with any shame and guilt from the atrocities committed by people who look like them, and possibly some of their ancestors.

Or, they may have been taught this and, again, have a hard time dealing with any challenges to those ideas.
