Ridiculous that Lindsey is lying prostrate on his fainting couch fanning his face with his hankie, full of fear and consternation at the horrifying thought that Donald the Great and Powerful would be held to account like a common criminal. Give me a f*cking break. If there are violent right wing fascists rioting in the streets of American cities, so be it. Fears of Trumpist violence must not be the deciding factor of the Department of Justice.

What is worse is what Alex Jones has started saying on his insane Infowars show as of yesterday, that "leftist deep state globalists" would soon begin murdering, and poisoning, and more - and blame it on far-right Trump groups. That is probably a call to action just like before January 6th to the Proud Boys and other nationalist and fascist heavily armed groups. Read the article in the Independent. This is seriously scary.

Now Graham is trying to walk it back, as the criticism has been intense. But he said it and if something happens it's on him.

Hi Craig, LG on that fainting couch in an 1860’s ballroom hoop skirt and bonnet. Sipping mint juleps. Fanning and “I dare say I have the vapors worrying over possible charges of his Lordship”.

I wrote Graham a letter directly after hearing his dangerous and inciteful rhetoric regarding the legal Mar-a-Lago search.I reminded him of his hypocrisy, his cowardice, and his “election big lie” statements . I suggested that he would now be responsible for any violence that will occur. I also suggested that perhaps , instead of threatening violence, he ,as an elected representative should have a spoken of lega due process , that no one is above the law and that intimidating and threatening lawmakers etc.is not acceptable. I suggested that his political future is fragile and that we are all asking “why?” he actively supports Trump and exposing himself to ridicule and worse.

The confederacy lost the last civil war they tried and they will lose this one, too.

Graham is ineligible for an exemption because of the "speech and debate" clause unless he and other GOPs are willing to claim that Fox News studios are an extension of the Senate floor. I'd like to see them try, though: Democrats should bring a censure resolution to the floor and force GOPs to defend Graham's words.

Teddy, I agree on a censure and see about removing him from committees. Everyone: As for actual rioting, I’m seeing 330M people in nation. What 60M MAGA at most? How many would actually take up arms and risk jail and ruining the rest of their lives?? 1M across the nation seems very generous. A big deal would be 100,000. Line up National Guard and busses full of handcuffed scofflaws headed for jails. Prosecute. Like J6 folk, if they see breaking laws still leads to prosecution, will quiet things down, discourage further BS.

Lindsey's probably wetting his pants, and rightfully so, over Georgia. Yes, there was an insurrection after the last election, but was there widespread rioting in the streets? Not really. He's using the authoritarian playbook - frighten the populace by the lie that violence overshadows the law. But I suspect the human suckerfish is about to find all about our laws, federal and civil. FAFO, Lindsey. The FO part is surely, inexorably on its way. And no one will lift a finger to save his wizened old ass or Trump's, for that matter. Different administration, different players in key places. No stand down orders for the NG.

As if we needed another goal for November - elect a Democratic Senate. and haul his ass in front of a committee investigating domestic terrorism.

It’s, in my view, naive and overly generous to claim Graham’s remark was anything but a threat.

I believe their goal is for violence. Every time something comes out, we learn how much worse it is than the previous thing. They must have gotten in so deep that they fear what would happen to them. All their “180’s” were so swift, especially Lindsey’s....he must wet his pants at the thought of what would happen to him if we learned everything. Gutless cowards, selling us out. Guarantee it.

Lady Lindsay should be arrested for inciting violence through his speech. He is so far up the maggot's ass that he can't find his way out. Why does he not just go to Georgia and testify. I guess it would appear strange that a former Chairman of the Judiciary Committee would plead the fifth multiple times. LOCK HIM UP!

When I see what the Trumpers are doing, I cannot decide if I am happy or sad.

I mean, for years, we tried to stop the GlOP

And here comes the MAGAs and they are going to do it for us.

All that effort we put in, and now Trump will get the credit for flushing the GlOP down the toilet.

I suppose we owe him some thanks.

Lindsey and his fellow Trumpers have created an atmosphere where they fear for their own lives. If they don't support Trump and his crimes they will face the wrath of the radical MAGA mobs.

Her Ladyship Graham should really cease her sniveling Igor impression with regards to the Maga crowd. She's very close to resurrecting the gay porn star more than credible accusations. Just the spector of future J6 violence will solidify the insanity of the trumpanzee crowd. Republicans overall seem to have the culture war won but they overplayed their hand. Reigniting the DEMS at this juncture will show at the midterms. Interesting that Moscow Mitch and her ladyship are both walking back prior statements which are proof of declining mental acuity...
