It was a glorious win in Ohio, seeing the people of the state refuse to let the GOP hijack democracy and try to pass Issue 1 in the dead of summer, which would have raised the threshold to 60% to pass a constitutional amendment via ballot initiative from a simple majority.
A solid majority (57% of voters) said "no" and sent a jolt through the GOP. It was an attempt by the GOP to block a ballot measure that abortion rights activists put on the ballot that will enshrine abortion rights in the Ohio constitution.
I am just baffled about how the GOP, not just in the states but in Washington, doesn’t see the handwriting on the wall in 2024. But no, they’re actually planning to move to impeach President Biden on top of all of this!
