Donald Trump’s terrorist slush fund is possibly crumbling. First came a judge’s ruling early yesterday in a lawsuit by those who say they’ve been victimized by Trump himself, putting the fund, any transfer of money to it, or payments out of it on hold. Then came an extraordinary order from the judge who oversaw Trump’s lawsuit against the IRS, reopening the case and alluding to possible “fraud” in setting up the fund as a “settlement” in that lawsuit. And we learned last night that before those actions there’s been panic an alarm inside the White House, with some close to Trump calling for killing the fund.

Friday was a really bad day in courts for Trump, and he showed it on Truth Social in a long rampage. On top of the slush fund decisions, a judge ruled that Trump’s name must come off the Kennedy Center, that only Congress can decide on changing the name because Congress created it and named it in the first place. The judge also ordered the Kennedy Center reopened after it was closed “for renovations” by Trump. trying to save face after performers dropped out and ticket sales plummeted after he put his name on it.

And one of Trump’s former lieutenants, one-time attorney general Pam Bondi, refused to answer questions about Trump in a closed-door House hearing on the Epstein files, likely still wanting to stay loyal if she needs a pardon at some point, but did deflect blame to fellow MAGA supplicants, acting attorney general Todd Blanche and FBI director Kash Patel.
