Donald Trump is outlandishly trying to distance himself from Project 2025, the blueprint for authoritarianism that his former and current aides, working with the Heritage Foundation and other think tanks, helped create and currently embrace. In a Truth Social post, he laughably claimed he knew “nothing about Project 2025” and that “I have no idea who is behind it.” It’s clearly a sign of fear, as Project 2025 has started to receive more attention and is horrifying Americans…
North Carolina GOP gubernatorial candidate, theocratic extremist Mark Robinson, has said horrendous things, including opining that women should not have been given the vote and calling LGBTQ people “filth.” Now it’s been revealed that he gave a sermon in a church last week, in which he said, “Some folks need killing.” Seems like yet another Project 2025 wish list..
And President Biden gave an energetic speech in Wisconsin, then sat down for an interview with George Stephanopoulos, which was aired unedited. Biden was defiant, pushing back against calls for him to step down, even as a group of Democratic senators is organizing a letter to call on him to drop out. And none of it has tamped down the media’s feeding frenzy…
