The media spectacle over President Biden’s broad pardon of his son Hunter was ridiculous. And now Biden is mulling more preemptive pardons, particularly of those who will be targets of Trump and his choice for the FBI director, Kash Patel. But are preemptive pardons constitutional, even though Richard Nixon was given one by Gerald Ford?
