Weekend Report: What's going on?
Fox is horrified the economy is doing well. Melania finally emerges to help raise cash, as Biden brings in massive bucks. And Marjorie Taylor Greene warning the earthquake and eclipse are "messages."
Republicans are freaking out about the astounding jobs report on Thursday and about the overall health of the economy. On Fox Business, they actually tried to argue that the economy is “too good” or, conversely, that it’s actually doing well because both investors and employers are looking at polls and are anticipating a Trump win seven months from now. I kid you not! So yeah, they’re worried and spinning. Now if we could just get the media to give credit to President Biden and Democrats. What is the disconnect?
Melania Trump is back and hosting a fundraiser for the Log Cabin gay conservatives (we don’t say LGBTQ because these hacks have bowed to the GOP’s hate against transgender people and no longer include them). The money they raise will go toward helping elect Donald Trump, the most anti-LGBTQ president in history.
The Biden campaign, meanwhile, brought in $90 million in March, giving it a whopping $200 million in the bank. Trump is beginning to fill the void after being cash-strapped, but it’s largely because he’s turning to billionaires as his small-dollar donations are drying up, particularly at his rallies—causing his campaign to pull back on big rallies. The Biden campaign, however, is seeing a surge in small-dollar donations, which is a very good sign.
Speaking of signs, Marjorie Taylor Greene says that the recent Northeast earthquake and the coming solar eclipse on Monday are signs from God that we need to “repent,” clearly pointing to the Biden administration. But couldn’t we take a page from the Fox Business hosts and surmise that God is looking at the polls and sending us a warning not to elect Trump?
