The Democratic members of Congress, all veterans of the military or intelligence services, who made a video warning service members against taking illegal orders could not have been more timely. Evidence shows Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered the killing of two people who’d survived a U.S. strike on an alleged drug boat, in clear violation of U.S. law. “The order was to kill everybody,” one source said.

And with so much attention on the Trump administration’s attacks on boats because of supposed ties to drug cartels, Trump revealed he doesn’t give a damn about drug trafficking and is clearly focused on regime change in Venezuela to get his hands on the oil: He pardoned the former leader of Honduras, who’d just been put in prison for the rest of his life, found guilty of conspiring with drug cartels while he was president, helping them smuggle over 400 tons of cocaine to the United States.

Exhibiting further evidence of his metal decline, Trump, in a Truth Social post, inexplicably went on a rampage against Somali immigrants in Minnesota while discussing the DC shooting of the two National Guard members by an Afghan national. He called Governor Tim Walz, “seriously retarded.” That caused a rare burst of anger from a Republican in Indiana, where Trump is pushing the party to redistrict in a vote next week. State senator Michael Bohacek, who has a daughter with Down Syndrome, said he is now a “no” vote, citing Trump’s “insulting and derogatory references.”
