After installing Louis DeJoy—a major donor to Trump’s 2016 campaign—as Postmaster General in 2020, many suspected Trump was putting DeJoy there to destroy the postal service. DeJoy is the first postmaster general in over 20 years without any experience in USPS and with 30 years of experience in the private delivery industry. Not surprisingly, now Trump is saying the USPS has had such “losses” that it must be privatized…
Mitch McConnell has finally reached his limit: Pulling approval of the vaccine for polio, which McConnell himself suffered from. Reports this week about RFK Jr.’s lawyer and his petition to have approval for the polio vaccine revoked—and how he’s working with Trump’s Health and Human Services Secretary nominee in vetting employees—caused an uproar and caused McConnell to speak out. Pretty pathetic on McConnell’s part; should of thought of Trump’s dangers way, way back. But the concern among millions who warned about Trump and future pandemics is palpable…
Rounding up millions of migrants and hauling them off to camps will be a humanitarian crisis of massive proportions. And, according to a new report by Democrats on the Congressional Joint Economic Committee, deporting just over 8 million people—Trump has talked about a greater number, from 11 million to 20 million—would cause GDP to drop by a massive 7.4 percent. That would be greater than the amount the economy shrunk in the Great Recession, as labor shortages would collapse businesses….
