There's public outcry after The Washington Post killed an endorsement of Vice President Harris that had already been written, claiming it will no longer endorse presidential candidates. Jeff Bezos, the owner of the Post, ordered the endorsement spiked, apparently fearful of his Amazon contracts with the government being revoked if Trump wins. This comes on the heels of the Los Angeles Times owner doing the exact same thing earlier in the week. Patrick Soon-Shiong is a biotech billionaire who needs FDA approval for the products his company puts on the market.
Donald Trump was late for his rally in Michigan, having taped three hours with podcaster Joe Rogan—a rambling interview full of lies—causing many of his supporters to leave. Meanwhile, 30,000 people filled a stadium to see Kamala Harris in Houston, Texas, joined by Willie Nelson and Beyoncé—after 1.5 million people requested tickets—while millions watched online and on television.
