The astounding and appalling berating of Zelensky. Musk and GOP threatening judges with impeachment. Plan to deport one million immigrants revealed.

No one can overstate the ramifications of the horrific ambush by Donald Trump and J.D. Vance of Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky. The televised bullying of an ally whose country has sustained brutal attacks and civilian deaths by a dictator who Trump is bowing to has stunned the world. Weapons shipments to Ukraine from the U.S. have virtually stopped, and no agreement has been signed. Trump is giving Ukraine over to Russia, and all of Europe and every democracy worldwide is now threatened.

As the judiciary has been the only branch of government that’s been able to stop Trump and Elon Musk’s purges of government agencies and horrendous power grabs and orders, some Republicans, working with Musk, are calling for impeaching judges.

Trump’s been grumbling, meanwhile, that his mass deportation plan is going too slowly. An ICE memo details how they’re trying to fast-track rounding up one million immigrants, most of whom have been in the country legally.
