Weekend thread: What's going on?
Walker whips out fake badge at debate with Warnock. Ron Johnson is booed and mocked, but leading in polls. Alex Jones jury award has right-wing extremists gripped by fear.
In the Friday night debate in Georgia between Senate candidates Herschel Walker and Senator Raphael Warnock, Walker — who has never served in law enforcement, though falsely claimed he had — actually pulled out some sort of police badge when Warnock pointed to his lie.
It went downhill from there for Walker — though the media predictably is saying that by yelling a lot and pointing to Warnock voting with Biden “96% of the time” Walker somehow did well because of lowered expectations, or some such other media nonsense.
And lets not forget the debate from a night before in Wisconsin, when Senator Ron Johnson was booed by the audience when he couldn’t even answer the question to both candidates — he and Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes — about what they see as “admirable” in their opponent. It revealed how deep in the cult Johnson is, as he couldn’t even present himself as a nice guy with an easy throwaway question.
Extremist groups are in a frenzy over a jury ordering Alex Jones to pay $1 billion to families of the victims of the Sandy Hook massacre, saying it’s a sign they’re all going to be rounded up. We had better be on alert for the further threats and violence that will ensue.
