The past few weeks have been demoralizing, with high hopes that Build Back Better would pass by the end of the year. This week that got completely snuffed out once again by Joe Manchin, only to have hopes rise that voting rights would pass and that he and Senator Kyrsten Sinema would support a filibuster carve-out.
But even that may fall through, though …
