There is lot to be horrified about that happened this week. One Supreme Court ruling after another took a sledgehammer to our freedoms, our safety and the entire planet. And now they’re taking up a case that has democracy advocates sounding the alarm, and could allow state legislatures to control elections.
Meanwhile, in Arizona, the Republican candidates for governor had a debate which showed just how nutty, kooky, extreme and dangerous the GOP has become. You have to watch this highlight video to really get the full flavor.
But on a positive note, Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony at the January 6th select committee’s public hearing was a blockbuster event and really took us a step further toward justice. Not only is it becoming clearer people will be charged — and I believe Donald Trump will be among them — but it’s landing a blow to the MAGA movement and Trump’s possible run in 2024.
