New emails obtained by The Washington Post show Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, urged Arizona legislators to throw out voters and give Donald Trump the state.
This amounts to intimidation — the Republican Arizona House Speaker, to his credit, didn’t bow to her demands — since Ginni Thomas, and her husband, at the center of a network of powerful conservatives, could make or break the career of an Arizona Republican leader.
