Georgia teacher fired for reading a book on gender to students. But are GOP voters tiring of the war on "woke"? Giuliani is bleeding from legal bills, but Trump doesn't want to help him.
Book bans and "don’t say gay" laws across conservative parts of the country have put a target on the backs of teachers. And in Georgia, the Cobb County Board of Education has now fired a teacher for reading a children’s book about gender to students in her fifth grade class.
But are GOP voters, at least when it comes to the presidential nominating contest, getting tired of the war on "woke," which has truly been a racist and anti-LGBTQ code word? Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida is seeing his campaign sink—and he’s based his entire run on taking on the "woke" world—while Donald Trump, far out front, hasn’t really dwelled on it, and while most of the other candidates have abandoned this term. At least one reporter at the Iowa State Fair found that GOP candidates were staying away from it and voters are saying they’re over it.
And Rudy Giuliani has reportedly been begging Donald Trump for money as his legal bills are piling up and he's going broke. Couldn’t have happened to a better guy.
