Where are the corporate media stories about Trump's gay porn buddy?
A "parental rights" advocate whose book Trump blurbed is exposed as a secret gay porn actor, and has now been put on "leave" by his right wing group. Corporate media is silent.
Donald Trump this year blurbed the book of an anti-LGBTQ crusader, Corey DeAngelis, who The Progressive magazine in July dubbed the “School Choice Movement’s Top Evangelist.”
DeAngelis, a staple on the far-right speaking circuit and on right-wing TV and radio, including Fox, has ranted against the “woke mind virus” and any discussions of gay or trans people in schools.
Trump called him a “FIGHTER for parental rights” who will “take back control” from “the RADICAL MARXISTS,” in a blurb for DeAngelis’ 2024 book, "The Parent Revolution: Rescuing Your Kids from the Radicals Ruining Our Schools."

But in recent days DeAngelis’ social media feeds went silent, and he was put on leave from the far-right “school choice” group, the American Federation for Children, after a site covering the gay porn world alleged with photos and videos that DeAngelis was an actor in gay porn. James Factora at the LGBTQ publication Them reports:
The blog Str8 Up Gay Porn — note: this link is NSFW — first drew the potential connection in a post on September 20. The website claimed that DeAngelis had appeared under the name Seth Rose in multiple scenes on the website GayHoopla.
Rose’s page on the website describes him as a “hot otter” and an “otter jock,” and lists three pieces of media in which he appears: a solo video dated March 17, 2014, a video titled “Jerk-Off Race” dated with just the month and year (March 13) but showing comments from 10 years ago, and another, “Super Star Cumpilation! How Many Strokes Til You Cum?!” (Them has reached out to GayHoopla’s parent company Blurred Media to request comment on Seth Rose’s identity.)
As Them reports, “DeAngelis was listed as a senior fellow at the AFC,” but he disappeared from the website in recent days:
When reached for comment about the apparent deletion of DeAngelis from the website, an AFC spokesperson told Them via email that “the employee” had been placed on leave as they “look into this matter further,” but declined further comment.
So far only The Advocate, Them and other LGBTQ publications have covered this story. Where are The New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, and the rest of the corporate media, particularly after the revelations this week that Mark Robinson, the North Carolina governor candidate Trump emphatically embraced, had allegedly posted on a porn site, calling himself a "Black Nazi'“ and revealing sexual tastes opposite of everything he moralized against?
The duplicity, as usual, is exploding all around Trump, and no, it shouldn't be normalized. That’s particularly vital as The Washington Post reports, “Trump’s second-term agenda on LGBTQ issues alarms civil rights groups.”
And of course this wouldn’t be Trump’s first connection to a porn actor, as he’s been indicted on 34 felony counts for having covered up paying money to silence a porn star with whom he had sex.
How is this not a story? It’s not like Trump simply met the guy once or that DeAngelis is a random supporter of the Christian nationalist movement that Trump courts. No, Trump actually blurbed his book. Trump is helping this hypocrite to rake in money, another Trumpworld grifter pushing an extreme agenda. Here’s the full book blurb, which is on Amazon and at the top of DeAngelis’ feed on X.
DeAngelis has been all over Fox News, making many appearances speaking out on student protests, promoting school vouchers, and railing against schools for “not teaching the basics” and instead “focusing more on LGBTs than the ABCs.”
The fact that he is so prominent on right-wing media and is a star in the deranged MAGA galaxy—scheduled as a headliner for a September 29th event, “Rescue the Republic,” with other MAGA luminaries, including Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk and RFK. Jr.—and is now exposed as a fraud, certainly warrants media attention on its own.
But the fact that Trump, a former president and the current Republican presidential candidate, promoted his book is surely news. If Joe Biden or Kamala Harris had promoted the book of a political advocate supporting their ideas and had given a blurb to the person’s book and the person was exposed as a hypocrite and removed from his post, it would be all over the media.
And that’s why it’s pathetic on the part of the press that, so far, this story about Trump’s embrace of a guy who’s now exposed as a gay porn actor while publicly bashing gays is nowhere in the corporate media.
Thanks Mike!
My take on this has always been MSM WANTS TFG back so they can have lazy access journalism. The chaos is easier than work on real issues. They miss the fact if TFG reelected, MSM is gone.
Huh an evangelical grifter furtively practicing what he preaches against, it cannot be true
