Special guest Katherine Stewart, who has gone deep into the belly of the beast covering Christian nationalism, will join us, just as the evangelical right has reached another milestone: installing one of their own, Mike Johnson, as House speaker.

Katherine Stewart is an investigative reporter and author who has covered the political influence of Christian nationalism for over a decade. The Washington Post noted that her most recent book, The Power Worshippers: Inside the Dangerous Rise of Christian Nationalism, is “required reading for anyone who wants to map the continuing erosion of our already fragile wall between church and state.”

She writes regularly for the New York Times op-ed, NBC, The New Republic and The New York Review of Books.
