Not wearing a seatbelt, besides saving his life, he’s probably too dumb to realize that the seatbelt keeps you behind the wheel if you have to make hard maneuvers to avoid a crash. You can imagine the look on his face as he’s trying to steer his car for the passenger seat.

How long is it going to take for Trump’s empowerment of the stupid to dissipate.

We have way too many “Mikes” in Texas with the same lack of critical thinking skills. He says “who cares about getting a ticket for no seatbelt. He might care when he finds out the fine is $500.00. What a jerk.

You can't reason with irrational people. Here in my 55+ community, people won't get vaccinated or wear masks out of loyalty to the orange Fuhrer. Let them take the risk. As far as I'm concerned, it's natural selection. It means fewer Trumpkins at the polls next Nov.

The silver lining is that these assholes are going to die, either of Covid, not using seat belts or sheer stupidity (were that a fast-acting lethal disease). My heart has turned to stone thanks to #TraitorTrump, the Covid pandemic and the Insurrection of January 6. #Death2Traitors

He sounded like my old boss, a vocal trump supporting cretin who moved from MA to NH in part because they had no seat belt laws. One time he was driving me and a coworker to NH and at the border made a big show of undoing his seat belt, we looked at each other in utter puzzlement. What drives someone to be so incredibly stupid? Meanwhile, he is the main reason I tried very hard to get out of that company and I now have an awesome job that pays twice as much working amazing people who all wear their seat belts and are vaccinated.

I guess no matter what we’re always going to have to deal with stupid.

Morning Michaelangelo, why do these Mediocre Moe’s call you (I am grateful they do because I live for your evisceration of them) to proclaim their ignorance and unflinching disregard for humanity? Why is it that this gene of white male supremacy manifest destiny BS so prevalent? Because they see a culture in which they’re never ever held accountable? Except by you of course… “I don’t wear a seatbelt and the Mexicans are bringing Covid over here… Fuck, the greater good.” Shaking my bewildered head.

I love your work. ☮️

The problem for me is a lot of these folks are getting my tax money. Florida is a tourist (although not so much these days) state so they may not get as much. BUT Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississsippi, Alabama, Georgia (maybe? Atlanta is decent economic boon for that state) Texas may not either... not quite sure. I do know as a Washingtonian we are making up the gap for many poor states. It's not fair.

It's time we had a politician that will scare these governors into understanding that the blue states you hate so much will no longer cover your asses. Although, Gov. Cuomo has some serious issues, I will never forget last year when he told McConnell, that he owes the blue states alot of money. I'm tired of it, and I want my money back. I don't like stupid people and I sure in the hell don't want to compensate them.

Well, this Mike, for one, would like to see a vaccine passport required for ALL spaces where you have to be in close contact with the public. Call me a radical. Go on. I dare you!

These people have a death wish and quite frankly I just don’t care about them anymore. The more media hype about COVID, the more they turn away. If they finally decide to get vaccinated, great. They know the gig. They know where and how to get the vaccine. They know the consequences if they don’t. They don’t care and nothing will change their minds. If they can’t partake in the usual activities, that’s on them. If they get sick, that’s on them. Those of us who take the vaccine and wear masks will live our lives.

The other side of it is if that guy gets enough seatbelt tickets, his state's DMV will suspend his license. That's Gubbermint interfering with his "freedom" again.

I'm sure Mike's take of this at the icehouse,(aka Texan for a type of bar), is that he owned that (insert homophobic slur here) lib NY talk show host on the Sirius today, all the while knowing his buds listen to AM heirs apparent to Rush. You made his day, but you'll never change his mind. As long as he can claim Covid survival, he'll never see the need for common sense public health measures, his epiphany will come on his or a loved ones death bed, not a day sooner.

Whenever you get a caller from Texas, about 90% percent of the time they turn out to be a right-wing asshole. My apologies to any progressives and Democrats in Texas who have to deal with these pricks on a daily basis.
