As always, well-said Sir! To listen to Biden was soothing and totally refreshing. For the last four yours I got used to listen diarrhea coming out that asshole, Trump, day in, day out. Biden’s human connection, leadership is already spreading all over the place. WE need to help him to fully and successfully fulfill his agenda, to bring the country back from the ashes. I am not religious, but may God bless him, our Madam VP, his administration, our troops, we, the American people, and you Michelangelo, you helped us at lot during this time of grief, loss, pain. For the last year you were and still are our outlet for the truth and def love every single time you get on the cult-members ass, funny, love it!

Michelangelo this was an amazing essay analyzing this important Biden address to the nation. Biden is the change we need, the President who will do all he can to unify - not divide us as we begin the recovery from his terrible predecessor and a horrifying pandemic year. You are such a great journalist and show host, so intellectually stimulating and I thank you again for all you do!

Beautiful piece Mike! You certainly captured the power of this moment. Biden is clearly showing the country that he is laser focused on the crises were are facing and that the full power of the government is behind the American people. Is he bland? I suppose to some, but I see it more as deliberate and I think that's more of a function of the way he is forced to annunciation due to his stutter, at least that's my experience. Thank you for this and for all you do! Can't wait to hear you this afternoon!

The man is little more than a drooling moron. Those who support him, his policies and practices are little more than morons themselves. I find it funny, or would if it were not so pathetic, that all the posters here can do is clutch their pearls and cry how bad Trump was. You are all a silly joke.

Beautiful essay, Michaelangelo. One of the most unforgivable things the GOP with the help of Fox and the late unmourned Limbaugh did was to poison American confidence in our government. It's not perfect, it's not always right but after January 6th, most people were probably shocked by how much it meant to us, and how the attack on the heart of our government filled us with anger, sadness and ideally, a resolve to protect and defend it. That's why Joe's "boring but radical" speech as that waste of space Ted Cruz called it, was so much a calming, centering moment for everyone who genuinely wants a return to normal. And so was watching Merrick Garland's arrival to applause at the DOJ. All of this signals the horrific destruction of the past 4 years is behind us for now, adults are in charge, although we still have to work very hard to pull Trumpism out by the roots. But maybe we can hope a little? That would be welcome as we move out of winter and into spring.

One last word - I was so moved by your caller yesterday(forgive my memory for names) who spoke about protecting his mother only to lose her when she was accidentally exposed to the virus. My heart went out to him. I hope he's surrounded by love and support and that his mother will always be in his heart.
