Besides that an army of 200,000 well trained and armed men, citizens of Afghanistan, immediately walked away turning over their country to religious extremists. Who exactly turn their “civilization” over to the Taliban?

They are 20 years to get their shit together, but of course the Maga crowd is going to try to blame this on somebody else that’s what they do.

Bush and Cheney put us here. Condoleeza Rice had the brass to write an Op Ed for Wapo, criticizing the withdrawal. It didn't go well in the comments section. Americans who are not part of the idiot cult know who started this and who profited from cough*Halliburton*cough. Obama should have withdrawn troops. That's one issue I disagree with him on. But Trump and Biden both ran on a platform that included withdrawing troops. So, are the American people at fault as some finger waggers are opining? Or are we just tired of trillions sent overseas to prop up a gov't and military that won't protect itself?

And while I'm on it Trump bypassed that gov't, negotiating directly with the Taliban aka terrorists. Trump had 5, 000 freed and their new leader freed from prison. The Taliban had a year and a half to work on the troops assuring them safety if they didn't try to fight them. That's not so hard to figure out. What's hard to figure out is why the same cultists didn't care that Trump already withdrew 16,000 troops, never addressed the Russian bounties on our troops' backs (guess whose embassy is being protected?) and started this miserable ball rolling with absolutely no movement in getting vulnerable allies out. Biden is taking the heat for 20 years of an unwinnable situation and it isn't right or fair. But some twitter pundits want us to pull our socks up and blame him solely because when Trump blamed Obama we protested loudly, as if Trump and Obama were equal as presidents, and all of this is Biden's fault.

And I'm sick of all the bullshit spin, including Pence's self-serving Op Ed, especially when Biden's transition team wasn't allowed access to anything in the first critical months. Personally, I think whenever you call out a magat or cut them off, an angel gets its wings.

W Bush put us there. Twenty years of accomplishing nothing. Cargo planes should take people who wish to leave. Democracies should step up and take some of those Aghans. Take women who wish to leave and see if the Taliban likes having no women around.

"Well, then I'm sorry you're done!" CLICK. I love you Michaelangelo. There's just no way of talking to them... the Mediocre Ones.... They don't want to know, and they are too fragile to acknowledge they're wrong, or at least be accountable.

I totally agree Michelangelo, yet another Trump acolyte trying to defend the indefensible, but NEVER taking credit for the mistake being made. HYPOCRISY!
