I still believe that Democrats need to work aggressively at the grassroots level in the red states & close call states to succinctly communicate what the Biden administration has done for them, and that their elected GOP, (who should be named & shamed), has consistently voted against improving their lot. The Democrats should focus on localTV, newspapers,, billboards and leaflets to demonstrate that the Democrats have positively impacted & improved their lives and that their elected “Repugnants” have had no policies in place other than chaos & disruption.
This is so true, Michelangelo. Dems must go on the offensive. The people that seem to get this message are Beto O'Roarke, Val Demings, and Stacey Abrams. They have put forward real, practical ideas, called out Republican bullshit for what it is, and don't shy from the press. The R's and Trumpers have no plans, no strategy, and can only throw insults and conspiracies. If CNN keeps putting on these wishy washy spokespeople, that's the only message viewers will likely take away.

I listened to your show today. You mentioned that Republicans are BURNING books. I have not heard that. They are BANNING books. This scare tactic is another ploy used to upset parents from either side. Those that don’t like the books, and those that are against banning them. Like I have said in previous posts, as soon as an adult tells a kid don’t read that, or know that, they are hell bent on reading and doing what ever it is.
Also, the only place that sex is talked about in school is middle school when they sort of teach sex Ed. It certainly does not go into any detail about alternative sexual identities or couples. It never has and I’m sure it never will. Parents can opt out of this class and there is no stigma attached if a kid doesn’t go. So this issue is bogus and it is just another right wing scare tactic.
It’s all right wing propaganda. It is these kinds of tactics that they have used for decades instead of talking about policy and legislation.
Democrats need to get a backbone. I’m so sick of the negativity and “Charlie Brown” attitude.
Agreed, Dems need to improve on messaging in order to energize the base, as well as push back against the mainstream media. I'm a bit tired of hearing about inflation when far worse things are going on with the GOP cult.
Exactly!! The media will never cover our wins. By its nature – the media wants disasters and drama. We have to tout our successes. No one else will. We absolutely can win! There are more of us. If we could get everyone to the polls. Being a defeatist it’s not going to energize the vote.
