Insurance companies are pulling out because insuring Floridians isn't worth the risk. Very few people can self-insure and we are going to see climate migration in the USA--a reverse flight of people from South to North. Who cares about low taxes, when home insurance is either unaffordable or not available. He's FAILING his home state and is too blinded by hate to fix things. So, I'm going to enjoy watching his miserable campaign implode.
The Red states who love to cry "socialism" seem to have no problem accepting socialism from the federal government -- like FEMA. I agree with you that there will be climate migration from south to north. And I think that it was Rick Scott (or Rand Paul) who didn't want FEMA assistance to go to NY and NJ following Superstorm Sandy. What hypocrites!
