Sexual abuse (as with any form of abuse) is mostly about control and dominance, and clearly, the majority of offenders are male. The enablers are also drawn to these settings, where they exercise complete control and demand obedience. Coaching. Joe Paterno at Penn State with the Jerry Sandusky horror show. Michigan State gymnastics, Ohio State wrestling - and that's just in the Big 10 that I'm aware of.

To be clear, it is a massive character fault that a person could, at minimum, turn away from abuse like this. As a teacher, if I did, I would likely never be able to work in a classroom again. Besides, is there any question whether these acts are wrong or evil? Instead, some of these guys jump from coaching to Congress.

Groomers (real pedophiles), domestic abusers, child abusers, and rapists all act to satisfy a need for control. They prefer authoritarian surroundings like churches, private schools, scouting, and coaching. It should not be a surprise that the increasingly authoritarian GOP might house some of these individuals.

The GOP motto is: Do as I say, not as I do. They are sanctimonious hypocrites.

P*R*O*J*E*C*T*I*O*N is what GQP are all about. They must figure “Hey, what we are up to, those godless D’s gotta be far worse !!” “We are the godly ones !”

Hypocritical though they may be, the bottom line is money and ego trumps doing the moral and correct thing to do. They are failures that saw the money pot and spotlight via government jobs and ceased to give a shit once their gerrymandered district meant they no longer have to deal with constituents on the daily. Jordan will get his when he is deposed not long after the ascension to Speaker because the one member objection will still be in place. The horse trading has become mob adjacent and you don't wanna cross hair fuhrer. Makes you wonder why a person wants to attempt to corral the morally bankrupt when the knives are out before you can be anointed.

Yet the GOPers want us all scared of trans-people and drag queens. If I were a parent, I'd prefer to take my kid to a drag show as opposed to a church. Especially in light of the fact that nearly every day their is a pastor or youth pastor convicted of child sex crimes.

Religion is where these creeps hide out. They pose as sexual puritans so no one will suspect they are molesting and grooming young men. Even if Jordan didn't have sex with the students, he enabled the doctor to continue and he himself is guilty of grooming.

I can't figure out why the Democrats have such a hard time pointing this out to expose them to the public. Are they afraid of offending religious people? Why? Would it not be better to point these creeps out so they can rid their church of them? If there is so much concern for the children, why is this being swept under the rug?

Ask parents a simple question, would you trust your child to be alone with a Priest, Youth Pastor, Clergy when you consider all the arrests so far this year? Over 350 have been arrested this year.

What a ridiculous choice for Speaker.

But perfectly enigmatic for the House GOP. Simply the right.

Hey Michelangelo, off topic, but the show you post on Sirius marked “yesterday’s show” is actually Monday’s show.

Can you please fix it. I work 12 hour clinic shifts on Tuesday and can only catch it on the App. Thnx!
