I thought the caller Steven (today, Friday) asked a very relevant question very succinctly; Drumpf incited treason, and yet he still is running for president?! The founding fathers are rolling over, getting slapped in the face, and even more confounding is the continued support he receives from about 35 percent of Americans after all his criminal activities and lies! As Steven said, these Drumpf supporters really do need therapy!

Any crime can be committed apparently if rw media has your back. The casualness of being judge jury and excecutioner of a person for doing no more than what donald trump does of regular basis. The are all so busy playing the home game of “ who is more extreme “ the lost sight of what miserable wretches they are. The average rattlesnake has more decency.

This latest sociopathic behavior of celebrating people who kill other human beings violently and brutally, with their bare hands and with weapons of war, is a symptom of extreme fascism and must be addressed. It’s getting worse - I believe and it is serious.

MAGA has faux news and a weak mainstream media to push their lies and half-truths all over the place. Thankfully, we have you, Michelangelo, and others like you pushing back with proveable facts. We all know what right wing media would do if it was a Black man who killed a white man on the subway, self-defense or not, protecting the Capitol or not (Ashli Babbitt).

At some point, people will realize that many of these people are suffering from trauma and abuse. Just as individuals born into poverty are likely to remain there, these people deliver the violence that they learned is okay when they were children. Violence in families echoes through generations. Conservatives are raised this way more often than not. When conservatism tips over into fascism, the leader winds up being the one most willing to use violence.

I should add that beating children is still acceptable for these people. Not correcting a child’s behavior. Straight-up beating them, with objects if necessary and if they don't ”get it” the first time. Spare the rod and spoil the child, and all those other fine nuggets of childrearing wisdom.

America, founded by brutal thieves, will she find honest reconciliation or drown in regressive violence ?

Watch Shiny Happy People documentary. We got to pull this car over and have a serious discussion with everyone about where this road will take us.

Brutal thieves, but at the same time bearing important ideals. I like to think they thought rightly about their transgressions, even if that is not true. Certainly, a few did. I choose to believe this American myth without offering them forgiveness.

Interestingly, I got into an argument with a conservative about gun control. I mentioned if your kid hits someone with a stick you take the stick away. Her response was you do and how she would beat the kid! Not the way I raised my kids. We punished them by threatening to not let them brush their teeth. That did the trick. 😂

Oh, those bible-loving MAGAts want to murder people. How very Christ-like they are!

There is a lot to unpack with DeSantis’ proposal. On the surface, gay and transgender people are not the child abusers, so if IF the law was enacted to only include people who actually raped kids, it would prove the criminals are typically not from the LGBT community. However, innocent people would be accused because of the way they look. Also, good point about children being reluctant to come forward. How could a child live with the knowledge that he or she “killed” Uncle ...?

Hey you vigilantes out there, time to come out with your white hoods, your brown and black shirts and beat up anyone who you think needs a good ass kicking. Let's start with the homeless. You know those slimy smelling godless creatures who clutter up our streets looking for handouts. Never mind the fact that thousands of the homeless are mostly veterans. He man this patriot shit is cool. OK; who's next? Yeah; the queer bitch's. You know the fags who dress like woman. Any faggot in those bars they hang around in. Then we go after those George Soros Jews. Then we get any blacks we see walking in white neighborhoods-or any place we don't want them to be, The brown people we round up and put in camps to pick our crops. What! we already do that? He, lets not let that Asian creeps get away. Then we go after those woman dressing pedophile Catholic priest's. We also have to get those people who lie about us having pedophile's in our religious cults. Intellectuals, and Hollywood types. The woke and fake news. Then anyone who is not a CHRISTO-FASCIST like us. Then we clean out our own ranks. What! you are telling us that our patriotic duty was against the new laws you passed behind our backs stating we have become to powerful, crazy, and out of control. So you have turned a Fascist military against us like Hitler did to his Brown Shirts! WHY?

I do not hear rational people screaming for blood. But to simply excuse it without a trial is dangerous. He very well could be found innocent. But he needed to be charged.

Coming up behind someone and rendering them in a choke hold isn't "self defense"....

I encounter people every day on the subway who are unstable, loud, aggressive -- and might be scary to some people. You move away. This man didn't threaten anyone directly--- and that's according to the witness--nor raise his hand to anyone.

He may have been belligerent but was not violent. If you were to attack everyone like this you'd be killing a person a day in the subway.

Penny coming up behind him proved the point -- he was not a direct threat. I believe Penny, coming from Long Island, looking for a bartending job, was simply not experienced with what's happening on the subway.

Also, why was he immediately described as an ex-Marine (without his name even being used) and not an unemployed bartender? We know what police were trying to imply, with help of media.

How is that self defense, the victim was unarmed and didn’t attack anyone, verbal craziness does not justify death unless the right wing wishes to use you in some political stunt. Even if he had why would any non sociopath continue with this for a minute or so after death , blood lust , macho look at me protecting an entire subway

The witness didn't say he touched anyone or directly threatened any one individual. Just made crazy statements that yes, might seem generally threatening, but he didn't say I'm going to attack you right there (to any person) nor raise a hand to anyone. Did not warrant stopping him until he did that.
