Ultra rich coming from an individual who allowed the team doctor to molest the university's wrestlers. Now we know where the blind, deaf, and dumb comes from...

It's obscene that Jordan is the chair of the Judiciary Committee, just another reminder how America has sunk thanks to the decades long Republican efforts to undermine our democracy. But here we are. If seeing them under a microscope doesn't wake up Americans who still embrace reality, nothing will but perhaps a sign of the coming apocalypse for the Republican party is Chuck Todd suddenly growing a backbone and challenging them. That wasn't on my bingo card. Maybe there is hope.

Todd should have hammered that idiot much harder. Who gives a fuck if these assholes won’t give another interview. All they do is lie anyway and dodge questions. So personally I never want to hear any of the right wing say a goddamn word.

If you look at federal taxes paid by state versus federal spending received from 1980 thru 2104, the Tax Foundation and the Rockefeller Institute, Ohio had a pretty good record as a donor state, receiving less federal spending than they paid in federal taxes. However, from 2015 thru 2019, Ohio averaged $1.33 in federal spending for each dollar paid. Now a welfare state. What happened to Ohio? Maybe Jim Jordan should be answering that question, if someone bothers to ask it. I'm in California, Micheal is in New York, both donor states, California averaged $.96 and New York averaged $.89 for the '15 thru '19 period. Billions of dollars that do not go back to the donor states, which include Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, Illinois, Colorado and Washington. Why does Ohio suddenly need so much of my federal tax dollars? If you want to limit what the federal government can do, then we should be limiting the federal taxes it takes in and let the individual states keep their money. Or as Grover Norquist once said, reduce government to a size that it can be drowned in his bathtub. I'm for that, reduce my federal tax bill. Fewer federal taxes, which leaves less federal money to redistribute to a bunch of failed former slave holder states, Kentucky being the worst by a significant amount. $2.32 back for every dollar paid. And this is up from their 35 year average of $1.46 from 1980. Why does Mitch and Rand's state need so much more of my federal tax dollars?

In case no one's noticed, this is the economy of the U.S. A hand full of successful states, 10 including Utah & Nebraska, mostly Blue, with higher taxes and more regulations, paying for a bunch of states, 40, mostly with lower taxes and fewer regulations. According to Paul Ryan, that last part was the road to success. Apparently not.

Well one thing that MAGA Republicans have made clear is that they see no role for the federal government to play in law enforcement and Jordan in sharing after viewing the video there was no respect or value for human life. All the positions that the far right have adopted and heartily support underscore there own lack of value & respect. That includes no support for body autonomy. No respect for the born. No dupport for child care, universal health care, no support for banning choke holds. Yes they support the federal government going after Biden but not Trump. Yes to the federal government taking the right to marriage equality and providing public accommodations. The list is endless and stupefying. You can’t tell me your “ pro life” and support the death penalty while at the same time promising to criminally prosecute woman for taking medication pregnancy termination. This is crazy beyond. Hopefully you’re right Michaelangelo folks are rapidly seeing what control by extremists yields legislatively. It’s all. No no no & punish everyone

Hi Michelangelo, it seems the failed law student, the failed candidate for the bar is unable to answer the fundamental question concerning our judicial system. Jim, our judicial system is based on deterrence and punishment, always has been, this seems to show why you cannot pass the bar.. so we can take the radical right ideology back a number of years, as we all remember Grover Norquist famous quote... shrink the federal government to the point of flushing it down the tub... Jordan is just the modern version of Norquist.... now couple this with the elimination of the IRS and federal taxes...who benefits? It’s not the lower and middle classes... and yet this group takes delight in tearing down our democracy due to the fact they do not believe in democracy, they want an authoritarian to make all the decisions... it’s sick and twisted.
