Great way to end a fantastic week! Now it is time to keep the momentum going. The lies and distractions the republicans will come out with have to be shot down. He calls her Comrade Kamala, what the hell? His stupid name calling isn’t working anymore. Watched Morning Joe and they did a compare of the two conventions. We rocked, they were uptight, sad and angry, full of fear and hate.

I wish my parents were alive to see and feel this moment in history. I grew up hearing my Grandmother talk about hearing the Suffrages speak out in Upstate NY, I watched my Mother fight for Women’s Rights in the 60’s and 70’s and my Step Mom fight for Women’s Rights while CEO of Planned Parenthood. WE WILL NOT GO BACK!!!!! 💙💙💙💙

I was there as a delegate from Tennessee. It was an epic week and I am fired up to work hard to get Kamala elected.

I have both heard and read the media whining about her not doing any press events. Well you know what MSM? STFU. You pushed Fake Bone Spurs on us as “normal” and never to be called out. You’re just waiting to pounce on her. If you’re so starved for stories why not do a story on some of the great candidates we saw speaking, or you know, on a justice issue, or something deserving further investigation? Anyway great week, so happy about our ticket,

Exactly. If the MSM spent half their whiny-baby time looking at any number of scandals that have come Trump's way -- oh, maybe the $10,000,000 from Egypt that we learned about just before Biden stepped back from the ticket? There's plenty of work for Traditional Media to be doing without press avails: I think Kamala's team know by now just how, where and when to use you dinosaurs. Sitting around waiting for Pavlov's whistle so you can assemble in neat rows of chairs isn't being Media, it's being complainers.

And we learned this week that Nobody Likes a Complainer.

(Thanks, Mike, for being our eyes and ears in Chicago! Any good {salacious} stories?)

Yup. I actually got so pissed at a writer from Vox that I sent him an email. He was going through all these reasons she should do press event or interviews like she’d be doing herself a favor when his reasoning was all basically how it would be good for the MSM, not her! I can see this being a typical MSM tactic and soon we’ll start seeing them trash her for not bowing to them. Infuriating

I don’t know if anyone has reminded us that at the beginning of the MAGA movement the media tried to stifle and shame our criticisms of them. I’m glad the gloves are off!

My first sighting of a “Veterans For Kamala” sign in the neighborhood and it gave me the kind of hope we all felt watching the convention.

When we fight, we win 🏆 🌞👍

I totally agree Rick on both points; vets should be firmly behind the candidate who RESPECTS them, Kamala Harris, and not a convicted felon, draft dodger and treasonist. His total disregard and selfishness caused the deaths of Capitol police officers who tried to protect people inside the building on 1/6!!! And yes, any public place you go there are TVs tuned into lying, $787 billion dollar settlement making Faux News. I’ve gone to gym managers to ask them to turn the TVs to another channel, and I’ve also walked around changing the channels on the exercise machines myself. People have been brainwashed and The Apprentice didn’t help bc it gave the very inept Drumpf credibility. Add all this to peoples’ personal agendas-disdain for government and politicians (until of course they need help when a natural disaster or pandemic comes along!!!) their buried prejudices, their lack of civics education (or education in general) and mix in some anger and meanness (a la Ann Coulter-her post about Gus Walz was appalling) and you have a magacon.

Hoping we all see more vets for Harris as the weeks continue.🌞👍

I think an excellent conduit for this would be Dan Froomkin. He gives the MSN no quarter.

I appreciated her speech, but her comments on Israel were more of the same AIPAC rhetoric. Better, much better needs to be said and done there.
