We're finally treating Trump like the joke that he is and it is so satifying to watch! And yes, I believe VP Harris and friends have found the formula for making Trump nuts ... and she is delivering it as a gift to DEMS across the nation! And that is just a value add! The real gift is leadership and a strategic plan for everyone (well, almost everyone. LOL) Agree, super important to not be complacent EVER when Trump is involved, but it is so refreshing finally watching people just publically call him out. Hello everyone, I just wanted to say that I was watching the convention last night on MSNBC and they said that the crowd in Wisconsin last night was actually sold out and that there was more like closer to 19,000 in attendance. I thought that was just so awesome!!
As joyous as the first two nights of the convention has been there is still much work to be done to secure victory up and down the ballot as the Obamas emphasized in their speeches. The sense of optimism that has returned makes that more attainable.
After all the crimes hes committed…the fraud and the sexual assaults , and I can go on at a long laundry list. And it amazes me that after all of that, The race is still close??
I remember reading and Michelle’s book “Becoming” the danger he put the family through from the whole Birtherism when a gunman fired shots at the White House. She said she would never forgive him for that…and people are still voting for him. Ugh!
But…. The convention so far is totally magnificent! My husband and I cheerfully clapping from the sofa. It’s excellent energizing and it feels good. Freedom! 🎶
Every speaker has been incredible!! The first night brought me such hope l, listening to Clinton, AOC and Raskin… and Warnock!! Wowza!!! Last night Doug Emhoff moved me with his clear love for his wife and then the Obama mic phone drop. Glad I made it up for both of their speeches - God, I missed them
Sakina, Trump tormented Obama about being born in Africa, demanded his birth certificate, it was a disgrace. Payback time is here. The Obamas were such a breath of fresh air! Love them.
and it was Barack' s father who was born in Kenya. Barack was born in Hawaii... but people love lies which is why those from trump held on to the lie..

Your analysis on today’s show of Michelle Obama and her role in the Democratic Party is SO on target; she’s revered and beloved by a large majority of Americans, and she could probably win an election over Drumpf by a wipeout landslide, but she is really so much more effective bc she is OUTSIDE the political circle. I agree with you 100 percent that she carries a lot more weight as a positive influencer in this role. I’m sure she will continue to work every day in this role, for as long as it takes, to make Kamala and Tim our next president and VP.
And to another caller who brought up what turned out to be Stephanie Grisham (former Drumpf press secretary) reiterating his hypocritical off camera remarks about his cult following, it was great that you included her WHOLE speech (when she quoted Drumpf, saying his supporters are “basement dwellers” who will believe anything they’re told.) That prologue to her comment about the disdain he has for his followers was SO important. He’s playing his supporters for fools. Maybe some Maga cultists will awaken out of their daze after hearing Stephanie Grisham’s very incriminating words against her former boss?
The Democratic Party is about working for EVERYBODY and welcoming these “new/old” republicons is vital to unifying our country.
