Mainstream media could do more in calling out the MAGA extremism of all the Speaker candidates and hit them hard about their vote not to certify the 2020 election. Nancy Pelosi said it best on Chris Hayes' show last night that (1) Dems are unified and respect each other and (2) Republicans are taking their orders from a guy coming out of a New York courtroom because he is on trial for fraud. With a Republican Winning the Governors House (the last one Left Our State BROKE!) and now Mike Johnson as Speaker? We Will Plummet to the Bottom of the List, even Under Alabama AND Mississippi...!
OMG, first glance Johnson photo, still has his hair, isn’t just another ancient white haired old tortoise curb crawling along, he looks rather innocuous. But, there is that smugly superior smile breaking through which tips his hat. His credentials are simply horrors for little d democracy !! A “very strong” election denier/Rump aid and additionally, he is openly against aid to Ukraine, the first domino of more Euro states that could fall if Vlad gets his way sans strong NATO action/support of Ukraine. The House is the “purse strings” portion of our government, we can’t have a strong anti-Ukraine aid person as leader of the House ! It doesn’t seem there could possibly be a worse choice for Speaker, let us hope/pray/send out good vibes it is NOT he !! Excuse all the !! marks, I usually try to minimize them, but this guy !! has me wigged out learning more about him. SMH.
